Dear Parents/Guardians,
I hope you and your family are keeping well. We are really looking forward to seeing everyone this coming September. Since June we have been busy with updating facilities, cleaning, adapting classrooms, and planning for a safe return to school. There have been lots of exciting developments over the past few months with lots more to come. Every effort is being made to minimize the risk to our school community, to support pupil wellbeing, and to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning when we return to the classroom. We are using the recently published Roadmap for Reopening Schools to inform our plans and will provide details of agreed protocols to you in the next couple of weeks.
These have been really difficult times for everyone. We greatly appreciate your support during the lockdown. We will need your continued support and cooperation in the new school year so that we can protect everyone within our community, particularly the most vulnerable.
Once the new academic year begins, it is essential that pupils remain at home from school if any member of the family is displaying symptoms of possible Covid-19 infection to avoid community spread of the virus.

The school book rental scheme will operate this year as normal. The purpose of this scheme is to help ease the financial pressure on parents where the purchasing of books is concerned. You can pay the fees here in the school office or via the school website from the 21st of August. If you require further assistance please contact the office on 018748307.
Dates for reopening: Timetable:
- Monday the 31st (August), First & Sixth-year students only. (9:00am - 12:00pm)
- Tuesday the 1st of September, Second & Fifth-year students only. (9:00am - 12:00pm)
- Thursday the 3rd of September, Third year & LCA students only. (9:00am - 12:00pm)
- Friday the 4th, all year groups to return. (Finish at 12:55.)
- Please see new start times for year groups starting Friday the 4th.
